The Lawrence brothers enlist some legendary talent for a remix album.

Disclosure will cap off a star-making 2013 with a remix album, due out on December 17. While details are scarce, it is said to feature remixes by hip-hop legend DJ Premier, house veteran Larry Heard, up-and-comer Kaytranada, and more.

The inclusion of DJ Premier is a coup for the pair: the one-timeFACT mixers spoke with FACT earlier this year about Detroit hip-hop group Slum Village’s Fantastic Volume 2; there’s clearly plenty of rap in their background.

Disclosure scored a #1 album in the UK with Settle and just received a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronica Album. They also teamed-up with Nile Rodgers and friends for the funkfest ‘Together’.

wanted to like the mary j blige version, but it just doesn't sound right, her voice sounds too bright and dry, the original is really soulful and pitched low, deserves a deeper vocal

agreed, deeper vocal would have been better

original >> remix, imo
