Went to see Tottenham vs Barcelona last night was a decent game

them Barcelona kids can ball once they got into their stride it was a bit peak for Tottenham.

Tottenhams small yout alex pritchard stood out but Sandro and Ebwelle were bossing the game. Ebwelle has mad pace and tech, fans were like 'not again' every time he touched the ball. One to look out for pacey african with tech.

Here is a team of the best players in each position so far in this seasons Next Gen Series.

GK: Reice Charles-Cook - Arsenal

The Arsenal stopper appeared in four of The Young Gunners games conceding just two goals in the process. His stunning displays in both fixtures against Athletic Bilbao are the main reason the side made it this far.

DR: Alvin Arrondel - Paris Saint-Germain

Captain of the PSG side that calmly went about their business in winning Group 2. Their captain and right-back was one of the stand-out performers when it came to defensive work in this competition.

DL: Charalambos Lykogiannis - Olympiakos

Easily the best defender in the competition. After the Greek side lost 4-0 in the tournament opener the 19-year-old was brought in to help shore up a flimsy defence. It worked as the team conceded just one more goal with ‘’Babis’’ playing at left-back.

DC: Conor Coady - Liverpool (captain)

The Liverpool skipper led the revival after they lost their opening three games in the competition. He played in their final three games although more often than not in a midfield role he is also capable in defence. Not to mention his incredible five goals that makes him the tournaments joint top scorer. For his efforts he has earned the role of captain in the side.

DC: Michael Heylan - Anderlecht

The Belgian centre-back was a stalwart in the Anderlecht side as they surprised many by securing safe passage to the next round. He was particulary impressive in the 0-0 draw with Barcelona while his winning goal against Wolfsburg in November effectively sealed their place in the next round.

MF: Vajebah Sakor - Rosenborg

The on-loan Rosenborg midfielder has been the star man in the heart of the Norwegian sides midfield as they stunned everyone by finishing joint-top of Group 5 with reigning champions Inter Milan. His form has seen interest in his services from the likes of Arsenal who are reportedly ready to make his parent club Asker an offer.

MF: Sergi Samper - Barcelona

The midfielder is the man who pulls the strings in the Barca midfield and he has once again been an ever present in their Next Gen campaign this season.

MF: Alex Pritchard - Tottenham Hotspur

The blonde midfielder has been Tottenham’s creative spark as they advanced to the next stage. A stunning performance against Barcelona in the Nou Camp is the undoubted highlight of his campaign.

LW: Carlos Mane - Sporting Lisbon

The Sporting trickster has been in terrific form throughout the campaign ever since he put Aston Villa to the sword on match day one. His good form has seen him promoted to the first team where he scored his first professional goal against Belenenses last week.

RW: Queensy Menig - Ajax

Viktor Fischer, another Ajax star would certainly have made the list but unfortunately after starring in his team’s first two games he was promoted to the first team. The torch has been passed on to the lively Dutch youth international who has been exceptional and consistent throughout.

ST: Michael Drennan - Aston Villa

The Irishman has been superb for Aston Villa scoring five goals in the campaign including a superb double in Lisbon as they ran out rampant against Group Winners Sporting.
