TF/S4DK Posted July 20, 2007 Report Share Posted July 20, 2007 ARSENALââ¬â¢S new ã10million ace insists he will never be able to replace Thierry Henry ââ¬â but warns he will be going flat out to continue his sensational scoring record.Striker Eduardo da Silva, 24, was snapped up from Dinamo Zagreb following Henryââ¬â¢s switch to Barcelona.And the Brazilian-born star, now a naturalised Croat, arrived at the Emirates Stadium with an incredible career goals record of 99 strikes in 152 appearances - with 53 of those efforts coming last year.Da Silva said: ââ¬ÅI donââ¬â¢t think anyone can fill Henryââ¬â¢s boots. A player who does as much for Arsenal as Henry did will only come around once every 50 years.ââ¬ÅIt will be impossible for me to do what he did. A year ago we all agreed he have too many strikers & centre midfielders, the numbers havent changed...Bendtner replaces Aliadiere.Eduardo replaces Reyes (as a left option)/Baptista (in quality I hope)/Henry (in term of head count numbers)Plenty of youngers to replace Lupoli, like Vela for example.
