LOL.Omo ale! That is a deep cuss.When I was learning Yoruba I learnt all the cusses first.
I swear thats like a rule.Well when learning a new language I like to know what the cusses are to start of with.And Smaddy, dont pay attention to when they call you English....its nuffinI just think in my head.... you bunch of pr**ks biggrin.gif Trust me...you will feel better.

i can't speak it but i can follow a conversation.Wat really pissed me off be4 was wen i went to nigeria, and just becuase i couldn't speak yoruba certain relatives and people off the street would act as if i was stupid.Sum would even try giving a sly inslut to my face (even back then i knew the insults).

Nah it's not that kind of pigeon. Its actually PIDGIN* It sounds more like "How you dey?" Translation = How are you"Wetin dey call-am" Translation = What do you call it/What is itThose are basic phrases though.And also, yeah there's some similarities to patois still.
sounds like scottish slanghow you dain?and sum sum reason people say "am ur" for "i am"aye am ur!

bruv i know what you mean and i hate this.....i just think to myself, at least i have a british passport & i'm living comfortably......+ the £ to Naira is just massive in its worth, so i'm like "i'm rich bitch!"
