Past experience have shown me that when i try to treat a girl like a lady, act all sweet an try to never lose my temper with her , she tries to take liberties with me , i.e get rude unneccessarily, chat sh*t, take me for a prick. Yeah I agree. RESPECT is what your looking for.But back to the question. Your girl may fear you a little bit but thats not to say that behind your back she cant take youfor that "prick" so you say.If a girl respects you then she does. If she dont then she dont (as in being rude for no reason etc...).Come with a different approach.Being feared by your girl even by a lil degree is not that much of a good thing. Could backfire.

If a girl is a "Lady" then you'll know, because you are given the feeling that you can only treat this girl like a lady. Them ones where you are "throwed" out (I hate using Texas slang) by elegance and class. i know what you mean by this still, as i have also experienced this in the past,a girl should have a certain amount of fear, i.e., u not being taken for Barry EvansI learnt time ago that being a sweet boy or coming across as too much of a gentleman just ain't the way now, you should be able to strike fear in a your girl, so she knows not to take the piss....these days from the amount of girls i have spoken to they would like their man to be stern or controlling anyway

Not really about a girl being scared of you as such....when I say fear I mean, showing who wears the trousers in the house, cause then the girl knows not to take the piss. These days the gentleman/sweet boys always get taken for a fool. Back in the day, most girls were looking for the eligible bachelor/gentleman or the special guy who is always sweet (flowers everyday and that).
