Has anyone had an actual conversation with a homeless person?

yeah it weren't so much a conversation though we were in town before and one comes up and starts talking and then his friend comes over and starts asking my mate for one of his wine gums lol He gave him one like and then the 2 tramps starting arguing telling each other to f*ck off

i used to chat to em when i was younger, like 13-16used to give em fags and sh*t and make conversation, remember gettin invited to a party by one of ema proper conversation as an adult would definitely interesting tho

when i was in san diego, a homeless guy told me the police had arrested some big shot drug mover from mexico, and i believed him. smh

There was one old white one (though I suspect he ain't homeless) who asked for change and I said he I ain't got any. Then all of a sudden he asks if I'm into hip hop and I said I was. Then he just started talking about how he's into Raekwon and Wu-Tang and me being baffled as f*ck, I was listening and he was just talking about how he feels hip hop has changed and everything, we ended up talking for like 20 minutes. Cool brudda, although I didn't spud him or shake his hand.

BEHAVE!I actually had no money on me , I def woulda gave him if I did though.I usually don't give money to homeless people though because it's either a scam or they buy crack with it.

I know a few down Old Kent Road still.Usually see them at KFC or McDonalds.Safe brehs. I brought them blankets, pillows, food and drink.Even went to see them over christmas with some bits and pieces.I know what it is like still as I was once homeless myself.

if you use this forum you definately have.ill say that i dont care about people that are homeless in great britain and im likely to never care unless it happens to me.sounds f*cked but thats just how i feel about it its not my obligation or responsibility or my place to care about these individuals.

Done a project on homeless people once.Not the most approachable of people.I remember one sick guy, he was like buy me a coffee from MCD's and I'll talk to you bout ANYTHING on camera.Then parred me off with some swag interview, where he ignored bare questions.Took his cofee back and poured it on the floor still, man took the piss.Met one guy that gave me an interview though, man's life was depressing. He seen his mums skull caved in with a screwdriver by his dad.

thats just it when i can SEE for myself that there are maybe mental issues i tend to show more sympathy but when a homeless man is talking normal to me i tend not to care its basically tarring them with the same brush cos in the brief moment i see them im not gonna have time to analyse their sanity etc so initially to me they are all just pests.
