Inter coach Roberto Mancini has named his shopping list for this summer – and it includes Arsenal midfielder Alexander Hleb.Reaffirming his commitment to the club, Mancini, who claimed he would be leaving the Nerazzurri in the immediate aftermath of the club’s Champions League defeat to Liverpool, revealed he enjoys a close working relationship with president Massimo Moratti. The pair are currently working on targets for this summer and Mancini named Hleb in a three-man shortlist which also includes Udinese’s Gokhan Inler and Genoa’s Abdoulay Konko.“There are no problems between us,” Mancini told Corriere dello Sport of his relationship with Moratti.“We have already spoken about the players we would like to sign.“We are interested in Hleb, Inler and Konko."The Italian’s public declaration is sure to concern Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, who maintained earlier this week that Hleb, who is suspended for the last three games of this season, had not played his final game for the club.Doubts over Hleb’s future began last month, when it emerged that the Belarussian had met one of Inter’s deal brokers, Claudio Vigorelli, prior to The Gunners’ Champions League clash with Milan.‘Super agent’ Vincenzo Morabito maintained that the meeting was innocent and that the pair had only gone out for an "that guy"-cream.

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_3468505,00.htmlInternazionale coach Roberto Mancini has confirmed Arsenal ace Alexander Hleb is one of his summer transfer targets.Hleb has been continually linked with a possible summer switch to Inter in the last few months, after reports emerged that the Belarus midfielder and an agent had met with Inter officials last month.Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has spoken of his fears of losing the talented midfielder, with Hleb having just two years to run on his current contract at Emirates Stadium.Inter boss Roberto Mancini is a big admirer of Hleb and he says the Arsenal man, along with Genoa's Abdoulay Konko and Udinese's Gokhan Inler, are on his transfer wish-list.Targets"We have already spoken about the players we would like to sign," Mancini told the Corriere dello Sport."We are interested in Hleb, Inler and Konko."Wenger admitted he is keen to keep hold of his best players, but he could face a major fight to hang onto Hleb, who will miss Arsenal's last three games of the season through suspension. No problemsMeanwhile, Mancini has played down reports of unrest between himself and Inter president Massimo Moratti.Mancini's position at the club has been the subject of debate with reports suggesting Inter have lined up a move for former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho to replace him at Giuseppe Meazza. However, Mancini has played down the rumours and insists he has no problem with Moratti."Between me and Moratti there are no problems and everything is quiet," added Mancini.

Arsène Wenger has spoken of his displeasure at the behaviour of Inter Milan in their pursuit of Alex Hleb. After an impressive season in North London, speculation has been circulating that the Italian giants are keen on securing the services of Arsenal’s Belarusian midfielder. Recently Inter coach Roberto Mancini was quoted as saying Hleb was on their wanted list; a move Wenger says is both disrespectful and illegal.“Statements from inside the club saying they are interested in our players, without calling us that is not acceptable,” said the Frenchman at his Friday press conference. “You would never hear me saying that. If I am interested in a player I go to the chairman.“The newspapers may have the speculation but for a club to come out with a statement like that and not even call... I think it is disrespectful. It is illegal.“But we have not gone as far as reporting it."

Inter's official website published a statement today in which it reiterated that no contact has been made with Arsenal midfielder Alexander Hleb. Coach Roberto Mancini also denies talking about the player. These statements were made in response to Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger's claims that Mancini had expressed his admiration for the player without having permission."I have never made any declarations regarding Hleb," said Mancini, "or other players who are under contract with other clubs, for whom I have the utmost respect."Everything that has been reported on the press these last few days has been done in the form of questions, which were asked by the journalists and which regarded the transfer market. Questions which I always answered the same way, namely that for now all our attention is focused on the league."

Alexander Hleb has admitted he is unsure about his future after Internazionale confirmed their interest. The Arsenal midfielder has been linked with the Italian giants for several months and Roberto Mancini this week announced he was on Inter's transfer wish-list.Hleb will have two years of his Arsenal deal to run this summer and Fifa regulations would allow him to buy out the remainder of the contract. However, the 26-year-old insists he is happy at Emirates Stadium and not currently thinking of a move away from the club."Who knows what will happen?" Hleb said in the Sunday Times. "All I can say is that I enjoy the game here and enjoy playing for Arsenal. There is more to come from this team and from me."Hleb is already looking ahead to next season with Arsenal and has challenged his team-mates to add more steel to their style of play. The Gunners have earned rave reviews for their attractive brand of football but Hleb insists it is more important to be winning silverware. He explained: "We have to accept that victory will not always look beautiful. We need to learn to play to win, not just play the beautiful game."The win is more important than beauty and my feeling is that playing the beautiful game is no compensation for not winning a trophy."

Hleb wants steel from GunnersThe Belorussian, courted by Inter, says Arsenal need to adapt to the increased level of aggression in the Premier LeagueALEX Hleb has called for his Arsenal team to become harder next season, though being banned for the rest of this season after slapping Reading’s Graeme Murty in the face was probably not quite the sort of aggression his manager had in mind. Hleb has been linked to a move away from the Emirates in the summer, but in the aftermath of those painful defeats at Anfield and Old Trafford, which left Arsenal without a trophy for the third successive year, he was not talking like a man on the move.Instead, as Arsenal travel to Derby County tomorrow night, the Belorussian was absorbing the lessons to be learnt from the sudden anticlimax and reflecting on the very un-Arsenal-like notion of winning ugly. “We have to accept that sometimes victory will not look beautiful,” he says. “We need to learn to play to win, not just play the beautiful game. The win is more important than beauty and my feeling is that playing the beautiful game is no compensation for not winning a trophy.”Hleb, though, knows that he is part of the problem as well as the solution. His quick-passing, fluent style of play has been at the heart of much of Arsenal’s best work this season, particularly in European ties, but with only four goals in 39 games he has fallen six short of the target he set himself at the start of the season. Hleb has shed the diffidence that marked his first two years at the Emirates and won over the Arsenal crowd, who thought him too lightweight for the Premier League, but admits that he still freezes in front of goal, often choosing the easy option rather than taking the responsibility of scoring himself. “What is it that stops me from shooting sometimes?” he asks. “I know I pass the ball when I’m in a good position and I’m thinking ‘that was a good chance’. It all goes back to my childhood, to my coach, who always said ‘pass, pass, pass’.”Hleb will not be drawn on his future, refusing to comment on reports of a move to Internazionale. “Who knows what will happen?” he says. “All I can say is that I enjoy the game here and enjoy playing for Arsenal. There is more to come from this team and from me.” His importance to Arsenal is illustrated by Arsène Wenger’s angry reaction to praise for the player from Roberto Mancini, the Inter coach. Wenger supects Inter’s flattery may be designed to unsettle the player, and he threatened to report the Italians to Fifa. “If Inter are interested, why do they not call me?” Wenger said. “If they want to buy a player from us, they call me and accept the answer they get. Mancini is being disrespectful. They [inter] can call us or I will report them to Fifa.”Arsenal’s season fractured, Hleb admitted, on that terrible afternoon at St Andrews when Eduardo’s ankle snapped and the questions about Arsenal’s fragility spread from body to mind. “The tackling and the style of play has become more aggressive,” he says. “Sometimes you can see a tackle coming and if you don’t do anything you could lose both your legs. The referees should be protecting players and the game, if they don’t, the aggression is going to escalate.”Hleb, who turns 27 on May Day, will not be wanting for suitors if he decides to move on. His style would translate easily to Italy or Spain but Wenger will hope that a sense of unfinished business in a young and talented team will keep him in town. Hleb should listen to the voice of reason.

Hleb leaving = the best thing for arsenal. The best wingers in premiership history - Giggs, Beckham, Pires, overmars, robben, Ginola, ronaldo, McManaman etc. were not only dangerous but productive Same applies to the likes of petrov, Young, Bentley this season. , Hleb is niether just a good player, perfectly suited to SErie A.

Arsenal's problem has not been a lack of steel TBH...Not at all, I actually we've either out-muscled or matched every other team in that department.Hleb been talking sh*t.I've already resigned myself to losing him. This Vieira/Henry sh*t is not a good look.

If Hleb & Flamini leave, it will tell Wenger some very real home truths which obviously nobody in the clubs is telling him or he's ignorant towards.Arsenal problem hasnt been steel, its been naivety at the back & efficiency in front of goal. As for Hleb and him leaving bettering Arsenal, I dunno, but I have felt like the midfield area needs tweaking for goals. In the midfield four Hleb scoring 4 goals is bad but I can live with it, but when I think he prefers to play in the hole & has played their a lot this season, 4 goals is SHOCKING. When I think he got 3 goals last season again its SHOCKING. When you realise he got three in his first season. You realise this is a player who for his position should be getting 10 a season, yet has only got 10 in THREE seasons in ALL competitions, I SMH.Let be honest while neithers performances match Hleb's, Walcott would have scored more & so would Baptista. Its a terrible return.
