they give you an anasthetic injection in your inner arm where they put it so it numbs it and u cant feel a thing, the injection stings a bit but other than that its painless. I was a bit squeamish about it at first because you can feel the rod in your arm if you touch it, but i got used to it really quickly, im really glad i had it done.
