It was not just a fun get together. If Dinky was charging heads to get in the rave, he would have been making profit, in which case it no longer is a get together.I co sign Goliath on being pissed on Dinky not being professional, and how disrespectful it is, I'm just glad it didn't end up in violence, because the last thing that is needed is more black on black violence. If this was some get together, then Dinky could have hired a free hall and basically showed everyone it was a £1 entry ting.

Yeah but you gotta pay a fee for the security and sh*t.. that's not the problem..I just find it jokes VIP2 heads were turning up asking to be paid to do a set..I don't think it was a flop.. it didn't sound too bad to me (from what I have read)And let me also remind you that I attended RWD magazines first ever rave FWD.. and that was not all that I can assure you now..the second time come round and they smashed it, was so packed I couldn't get in..Let's not forget that the timing of this rave clashed with many of us on here as we had exams and sh*t..next time round Dinky will smash it.

That's true.. should have made things more clear from the start..But we know that this is a new rave, couldn't have expected much.. if it did blow up, I am sure he would have got paid better.

analogy time.if the govt brought up a new scheme by where if you do certain things, they pay youand you done whatever you needed to do, and they said "well its a new scheme, so we can only give you quarter"you'll start making noise

End of the day..If I was hired to do a job, I wouldn't leave the job until I was paid, and if I wasn't paid at the end of it, I would take it as a lesson and notify fellow tradesmen not to work for this individual.Either that or smash the place down and make the damage. The latter did not happen..it'sa all about option one if you feel that passionate about it.

I agree with you it's a new thing so perhaps DJs shouldn't have expected nuff p, but something tells me that wasn't the case, and once you start business, you need ot hold up your side of the deal, irregardless of what it is.On a sidenote, I read oen newspaper and one article was a man who got support of his council and the police to smash down one extension to some woman's house because she was dodging paying him the £10/20,000 she owed him. I would have loved to be there. So wiht that in mind, if you agree to do business with someone on a legit tip, hold up your side no matter what before they take matters into their own hands.

Fair play..I am just saying that this should not result to violence where people are getting banged over money..Instead of being institutionalised into being the subjective person, seeing green and the rewards of money.. try to be a little more objective on this and reliase that it is not worth possibly getting caught and going to prison over £150-200 bar (or whatever the deal was)

Business is business. When ppl take it for a favour WHEN IT WASN'T THAT in the first place then your asking for problems especially when ur dealing with road minded heads. If Dinky had come correct & said look, I'm trying a ting, numbers will probably be low, I haven't got alot of p to pay you so can you do it for free this time & next time I'll pay OR just pay for expenses etc. Goli & other djs probably would have said cool. BUT HE DIDN'T.I'm glad goli didn't bang him but I UNDERSTAND how he felt coz I've been there. I've done shows & promotors is chattin breeze about he ain't got my money. You better believe mans helping himself to whatever p is about, lol, decks/mics/champs etc have taken way back when. When I was with Heartless crew, it was the same ting up & down the country.Dinky, live & learn. Holla at man & those who r in the know, I don't mind helping u fam.

Does Logan Sama even post on these forums?I know for a fact that certain DJs on VIP2 would have DJ for nothing that night and more time they might have had some talent as well. This function was supposed to be a vip2 get together..that's like me having a family or friend house party, turning up, playing a few tunes and expecting to get paid..
Logan is Spawn but denys itThis was not a vip2 get together btw.
