its pretty fair to say most of west (near central) is pretty noice, from all the rich arabs and 'once upper class' hang out, places like Kensington, Chelsea and Knightsbridge. can;t forget how many nice parks there are round them parts as well, real money.of course places like Acton, Bush and Brent let the side down, but what do you expect when you live under a flight path and only have the North Circular as your local attractioni must add tho, LOL AT WHO MENTIONED EALING... would that be 'Queen Of The Suburbs' Ealing you were talking about?to me the only other part of London competing, and in many ways defeating would be North, Highgate, Hampstead & St John's Wood cannot be forgotten eitherEast and South will have their rich spots, but bar the nice part of SW, i thinks its pretty safe to say its all nouveau riche round dem parts
litrally a sh*t post tbh

Long to read the topic.I know one of the reason west is like this is because -In the mid 50's when most of our great grand parents came over, they went to alot of these areas, Kensal Green being a prime example, and over the years, house prices have gone up and the areas have become more desirable due to location - access to west end, public transport and architecture (listed buildings etc). A lot of the original families can't afford to live there anymore and have gone (or died) and all the new trendy graphic designers and their vespas have taken their place.

Also there aren't any major Estates in Kensal Green/Rise are there? dat could be a reason rich people are moving in
