Just saw 500 days of summer or whateverIt was okay, few laughs, could relate to a few things but in the end it kinda spiraled to a cliche rom com. I guess there's not many endings a rom com can have but I would like to see something different or at least some effort into a new ending for the genre. It seems everyfilm ends the same way./Temper Trap - Sweet Disposition is an awesome song and the female actress is gorgeous, I think she played her character superbly as well. Exactly how I'd espect her to be in real life.

I agree with the above evaluation of 500 days of summer, i regarded bay's taste highly but after this film i will take his film hypes with a pinch of saltlools
lolcome on manSPOILER ALERTu cant expect Tom to be left alone... after all, most rom coms are 'feel good' films aswell ... there was a SLIGHT chance that it wudnt happen when Autumn said 'im meeting someone'...Plus at the beginning of the movie they showed the 488th day and u see the ring on Summers finger, this i thought that Tom n Summer are married now, if u noticed it too, then u mustve had a thought that everything was guna work out when they were arguing etc...END OF SPOILERWatch (i think for the sake of the ending) Definitely Maybeand Paris Je t'aime...the 'sequel' to it 'New York I Love You' is coming soon aswell.OH and get the Vice issue this month. its a FIlm issue, bare interviews from the likes of Michael Winner, Lars von trier, Terry gilliam etc... never knew Michael Winner is such a G.

just watched Le fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain. i slept on this hard.500 was a good watch, but it got to a point where i just turned it off. some films do that to me, another example is Nick and Norah's infinite playlist, i just locked that off at one point. Can't really think right now pretty f*ck*ng blazed. Tiva did well in the jar.

Agreed 100% on Nick And Norah's Infinate PlaylistAnd I don't get the hype with Amelie, I mean I watched the whole thing and did enjoy it in a weird way but how does everyone rate it as a classic? For what reason?
From a non-filmy person's point of view its just a really pleasant watchShe has a really nice outlook on life, its quite a feel-good film thats funny, but not in a corny way.

the storyline in Amelie has given me more then most films put together, i can't remember the last time my mind was fed this way. Her character is amazing and it breaks my heart i don't know her. The soundtrack was f*ck*ng amazing, Yann Tiersan. From start to finnish that has got to be one of the best films i have ever seen. gonna watch again.
