Asprilla, who played for Newcastle United in the 1990s, says matters have already come to a head. "If Van Gaal continues he will leave," Asprilla told IB Times UK. "I think it is a relationship that has already been broken. Falcao understands that the coach does not want him. "I remember when I went to Newcastle, Kevin Keegan wanted me. Against Southampton we was relying on creativity from 2 wingbacks that have 1 assist between them this season until Blind moved out wide and put in a few decent crosses. I think once Di Maria, Carrick, Fellaini, Herrera, Mata, Blind prove they can stay fit and we sign Strootman or 1/2 CMs in the summer Rooney can return to his best position as a 9 Id feel ok with 3 9s if we were playing 433 which we hopefully move onto once we improve our defence and midfield and sign wingers who can create chances, dribble, score, take people on, cross a football etc Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Falcao has scored just three Premier League goals since his loan arrival from Monaco this season and was left out of Van Gaal's matchday squad for last Sunday's defeat to Southampton. His agent, Jorge Mendes, has also admitted his client's future at Old Trafford remains uncertain. "If a player costs £95million or £5,000, it doesn't make any difference. You have to prove yourself," Van Gaal said on Friday. Van Gaal's comments come after fellow summer signing Daley Blind warned United's fringe players they must train harder to break into the first team.
