Lost tapes was sick but that was songs made before Stillmatic. Didn't really feel the albums that followed. Gonna listen to the 'Nigger' album later. Shawn_Carter Posted July 6, 2008 Report Share Posted July 6, 2008 Nas's problem has always been that everything he does since Illmatic will inevitable be compared to it, which is why the records he realeased immediately afterwards were deemed "flops", when really, if they had been made by another artist they would have been hailed as the next Nas.Also, Illmatic dealt with street life, and Nas suffered the problem most rappers face after getting success, which is whether to keep rapping about the street or not, and I think people don't really feel his political talk as much as "tech in the dresser police got me under pressure".
