Nike Air Stab trainer withdrawn after spate of knife murdersNike has been forced to withdraw its Air Stab training shoes following an increase in fatal knife attacks. nike-air-stab_691025c.jpgThe running shoes were originally sold in 1988 but a limited edition retro range was relaunched two years ago, carrying the phrase Runnin' 'n' Gunnin' on one version. Although the sportswear company denied that the trainers glorified street violence, it said it had decided to stop selling them in light of the recent spate of stabbings. A total of 53 people have been stabbed to death in London alone this year, many of them teenagers including 16-year-old Ben Kinsella whose death last month prompted a demonstration against knife crime. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/230...fe-murders.html

gettin stupid now. If his sister wasnt sum extremely minorly famous person he would just considered in the same light as the kids who were killed that they no longer mention within all the papers. I'd hate to have someone in my family's name coming up so much in that kind of way.

Its sick what type of society we are becoming.Cant even call a pair of trainers stab in case you offend someone with the word stab. Pathetic.'Please government let me worship you.'
its the marketing big wigs you should be dissing. Its them that called the "emergency meeting" and made this decision. nothing to do with the goverment...

I aint saying the government told them to do it but with them hyping the stabbings it is a knee jerk reaction to that. Its like they are sucking up to say'Look at us, we are doing something to stop the stabbings'
