Just 2 in 3 Brit babies are white

FEWER than two-thirds of babies born in the UK are registered as white British, figures revealed yesterday. The first Government breakdown of births by ethnicity shows how Britain is evolving. Just 64.4 per cent of the 649,371 tots born in 2005 were white British. Nearly nine per cent were Asian, including Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi. Five per cent were black or black British. Chinese kiddies formed 0.4 per cent, 3.5 per cent were mixed race and 2.4 per cent were from other ethnic groups. Around 0.3 per cent were Irish while 4.8 per cent were of other white background, with ten per cent’s ethnicity not stated. The Office for National Statistics figures also revealed significant differences in age and marital status of mothers from different ethnic groups. Almost all Asian babies (96 per cent) were born to married parents, compared with one third in the Caribbean group and 51 per cent in the white British category. The number of births by single mums was also highest in the Caribbean group — 20.5 per cent — followed by African (13 per cent) and white British (seven per cent). Snapshot Advertisement In each of the three Asian groups, fewer than 1.5 per cent of births were to single mums. New mums’ ages also vary wildly between ethnic groups. About 1.6 per cent of Indian births were to mums under 20 compared with 9.5 per cent among Caribbeans. Half of all births in the white British and African groups were to women aged under 30, compared with 68 per cent of Pakistani births and 71 per cent of Bangladeshi births. Director of the Race Equality Foundation, Ratna Dutt, said last night: “Older generations of black and ethnic minorities who have grown up in Britain are now comfortable enough to raise their children here.” Ex-Labour MP Tony Benn said: “This provides a delightful snapshot of life in multicultural Britain. We’re lucky to have so many people from different backgrounds.” But Migrationwatch chairman Sir Andrew Green said: “This is a worrying measure to the extent which uncontrolled immigration is changing the nature of our society against the wishes of the majority.”

The thing is those stats are vey bogus!...2 in 3? common.. These cunts know what they are doing. If it was based in london, I could maybe agree. but that aint the issue. The stats still show whites are the majority. Which will always be the case anyway.
