Ronaldo: Utd fans love meBy PAUL JIGGINSPublished: TodayrigTeaserImageCRISTIANO RONALDO reckons he will get a hero’s welcome from Manchester United fans when he makes his comeback on Wednesday. The Portugal star is set to feature in the Champions League clash at home to Villarreal. It would be his first club game since he tried and failed to engineer a move to Real Madrid. The star, who has recovered from ankle surgery, said: “When I put on the shirt, I give it my all.“I’m already in the history of the club. When I play the fans will love me again.”Ron has ruled out a mega-money move to Manchester City, who said they would be prepared to pay rivals United £135million.Ronaldo said: “No way do I see myself in the shirt of another Manchester team.“I didn’t realise I was worth that much!”Modest Ron claims he has changed the face of football. He got the Golden Boot after netting 42 goals and said: “With this Golden Boot I have changed football a little."Usually strikers won it and I’m a winger. I have been the most consistent and the best.” Will he get the heroes welcome this week?

If he stays fit for the rest of the season then he could be as good as he was last year.He has missed a few games already but then again last season he only started scoring around this time last season which was in our first CL and then I think his next goal was in our 7th league game against Birmingham. Most people thought his 06/07 season was gonna be a one-off and he wouldn't score more than 20 goals so who knows.
