I don't think so. I think some girls have male "friends" for different reasons. This goes on the assumption of there not being any platonic relationships. So she could either not find you attractive & just keep you in that zone where you are a friend only to boost her ego.Or she likes you but is not jumping into anything & puts you in the zone where you appear as a friend but you are really an option incase she doesn't find anything better or someone else breaks her heart.

Which is why i said basing this on the assumption that there are no true platonic relationships babes.So the said 'friendship' is nothing but a lie. Guys are put in the 'friendship' zone usually for other reasons other than actual friendship. There is either a sexual urge hidden or suppressed by you or her (when the feeling's not mutual) or both of you OR it is all just a selfish urge for either monetary gain or ego boost.But not everyone is like this i guess so don't attack me.. It's possible but can be difficult.I ended up in the friend zone way too much during college. It just kills your motivation and I just used to end up pretty much not talking to the girl becuase there is no real reason to communicate with her if she's not making me money or giving me nash. Basically, I was not patient enough to turn sh*t around.If a girl that claims she just wants to be friends ends up doign something you weren't really in tehe friend zone. She was bluffing to avoid looking too on it.
