13.20 Liverpool have broken their silence over Robbie Keane and have confirmed they will allow the Irishman to talk to Spurs over a return to White Hart Lane. He is now expected to undergo a medical.
Who cares anyway. They think sticking a different slav next to him will make him look good again.

Zenit St Petersburg appear confident that a deal will still be struck to sell Andrei Arshavin to Arsenal on transfer deadline day, despite suggestions that the Russia international is leaving London.Arshavin flew into the English capital on Sunday night to be greeted by heavy snowfall more fitting of his home country and reports have claimed that his tortuous transfer is now on ice with the player heading back to the airport to return to Russia. The Gunners have been locked in talks with Zenit for much of the January transfer window though and it appears that discussions are still ongoing as the 5pm deadline, which may yet be extended, looms.Zenit general director Maxim Mitrofanov expects the two clubs to come to an agreement – despite reports that talks had collapsed - but was less certain about whether Arshavin would accept the wages on offer and move to Emirates Stadium.“Negotiations are still ongoing, to a greater extent on the level of the board of directors of Arsenal,” Mitrofanov told Radio Zenit.“Occasionally the Londoners come to us to clarify some details.“It is our belief that the chances Arsenal will come to an agreement on the purchase of Arshavin is very high.“But as we have stated before, to acquire the player two conditions need to be respected: The transfer will cost at least £15 million and the fulfilment of the financial obligations from both player and club to Zenit.“Only by meeting these two components can he move and if Arsenal are fairly close to approving the transaction, it is difficult to say the same about the player.”according to setanta

GUNDAM, RSONISTany news on GDS?ssn saying bid accepted from an undisclosed second club, if theres one club in the league that insists on business being undisclosed when we make a bid, then it's us...i know it would be completely out of character for MON to make a move but we need a bit more flair and we really tried to sign De La Red in the summer...

Giovani dos Santos, the Spurs winger, could be set to join Portsmouth today, probably on loan until the end of the season. I don't get it. Last season he was Lionel Messi's replacement, now he's third-choice right-winger at Spurs behind the consistently inconsistent Aaron Lennon and the ludicrously out-of-form David Bentley. What happened, Gio?
