The photograph appeared onan entertainment website. The photograph has the appearance ofone taken during an official Domestic Violence investigation.The Los Angeles Police Department takes seriously its duty tomaintain the confidentiality of victims of domestic violence.The Department launched an immediate internal investigation andsubsequently filed a personnel complaint.A violation of this type is considered serious misconduct, withpenalties up to and including termination.Anyone with information concerning the unauthorized release ofthe photograph is asked to call, during regular business hours,(213) 485-4152. The singer is currently back in her native Barbados, recovering from the injuries she suffered during her boyfriend’s alleged assault, and her pals say she was not at all impressed by his public apology. “All of us, including Rihanna, don't understand how he can say he's sorry on the one hand, but still does not admit any guilt,” says one friend. “He should have expressed more contrition.” Another friend of the singer told a US newspaper that Rihanna is “royally pissed off” with Chris, and thought his statement was “cavalier and arrogant”. But not everyone’s been quite so measured in their reactions – comedienne Roseanne Barr might not have anything to do with the whole situation, but she sure has an opinion about it. “Chris Brown's lies and excuses make me want to beat the crap out of him,” she writes in her ever-ranty blog. “He uses the language of the perpetrator just like every sleazy bastard who ever smacked his wife, kid mother or girlfriend around uses. He needs to lose the innocence - ala Usher - Confessions - sometime but this would never be advised and is a possibly the worst move. Only OJ pulled off a worse move.
