Washing your Jeans?

I'm assuming you're talking about selvedge denim?Wash them inside out, slightly lower heat, let them dry on a rack and not in the dryer?Or get them dry cleaned, i used to do that with my dark denim, got lazy as i got older and now i regret it as i'm currently wearing a pair that were one of my faves but they started fading on the seams.

cold wash and drying them on a line will prevent shrinking.but some shrinking will occur regardless of how you wash them.

I do them inside out, low heat and leave out to dry naturally.Ive found by the time the washing starts to affect them there old enough to throw away anyway.

Had a pair of raw denims that hadn't been washed for about 6months. Got them dry cleaned, no shrinkage but some fading in places.

I've been washing my jeans in a normal wash and air drying them since I was 13 doing my own clothes. Not once have a single pair had anything happen to them or faded beyond normal. Those saying "wash them inside out" are ridiculous, what difference do you think that makes lol!! Ironing them inside out, yes. But washing them inside out... LOL
