Our sink is lovely...!?lmfaoanywaythere must be another reason, people at uni do it all the timeand them sinks aren't specialalways asked, but no-one seemed to know
hygeinecracked enamel and scratched steel, easily embed germs and spread easily...
Also can someone explain why certain people put buckets in their sink?
Using the sink for two purposes, ie soaking dishes or washing meat
NOT GOOD ENOUGH.Just wash your f*ck*ng dishes.A dirty bucket, filled with dirty water, taking up space is unnecessary and backwards when trying to 'save' the sink from germs caused through cracks and scratches.

pile the dirty dishes up by the side of the sinkhot water runningsoapy sponge/brillo pad1. take each plate and run water on it2. thoroughly scrub the plate with the sponge3. then rinse the soap off the plate with hot water4. put the plate in the drying rack/dry with a towel5. rinse the sponge in hot water to remove any dirt, adding more washing up liquid when necessaryrepeat
this [or if I feel like saving water, everything get's scrubbed, put on the side then rinsed instead of leaving the tap running throughout].I remember the fairy adverts used to leave me baffed when the woman would put the soapy plates on the drying rack. And Young, Dumb & Living off mum pisses me off. Especially the 25yo that's been sacked from what? 23 jobs? her mum failed.
