sterling got such little help tonight in this team, swear every time he got the ball no-one moved over to give him support. Just lead to him getting outnumbered then losing posession, frustrating to watch.

Adorjan came on and did very well, needs to start the next game. Would play both him and Suso in the same team, dont see why they cant play in the same side.

Morgan should have scored near the end, tried to do too much and was still unlucky not to score given the way it was kept out but he had alot of time to finish it.

Up until Adam went off on 67 minutes, Lucas made 24 passes, 23 successful. Once Adam was replaced by Gerrard in the next 21 minutes that Lucas was in central midfield with Gerrard, Lucas made 51 passes, 45 successful

I like Adam, but don't like him in a midfield two with Lucas.

Adam has had some good games and some bad, at times he needs to just keep it simple. Frustrating seeing him try knock the ball past an opposing CM only to lose it then not have the pace to get back and help us regain posession. Few occasions where he looks for the difficult ball too much aswell, at one point today he had kelly to the right of him in space for a nice counter attack and yet looked straight to the left and smashed it towards suarez, a pass suarez was never gonna reach. A simple pass to kelly would have left him with the time and space to get to the edge of the box giving kelly another option

with his lack of mobility he needs to take more control of games, demand the ball and pick a pass early then release the ball rather than dwellling on it and losing posession leaving the team a man short because he cant get back quick enough. Still cant see exactly where he fits in currently, with Lucas alongside him he doesnt impose himself enough to give us the drive necessary going forward, he was compared with Alonso before signing but he doesnt have that quick decision making with his passes nor the position Xabi had to be in the right place at the right time both in an attacking and a defensive sense despite his lack of mobility.

Suarez is on another planet compared to any other striker in the Prem. Reads the game like no other and knows every trick in the book. The way he stuck his leg out knowing a guy would run into it for the pen was GENIUS.
