It's nice seeing all the Liverpool fans (who are only Liverpool fans because they're massive) going through what the vast majority of us have to worry about every transfer window.

Torres is dumb though, although I can see it getting delayed until the Summer. I still think he should hold out for Barca. They need a genuine #9 in their squad.

Surprised at Afgoon tbh.

He generally talks sense in the sports room.

Don't get your comment tbh JJ, like we never have to worry about players leaving.

In fact, I don't think there is a club in the league who doesn't have to deal with the speculation/possibility these days. Just on different levels.

Nice to see you making assumptions why people actually support Liverpool.

In the past few years we've had transfer sagas with the following

Gerrard

Torres

Xabi Alonso

Mascherano

Arbeloa

Of that list we're likely to have only one of them remaining, but I suppose they're all trumped by Gareth Barry

if Torres comes , i just hope the deal aint got nothing todo with Daniel Sturridge , because i have a funny feeling it will come back to haunt us if we let him go in the other direction..

He will probably hit full potential in 2/3 seasons , and become a top striker in the prem, and i can see Torres getting injured and underperforming.

I just got a funny feeling that Liverpool will be laughin at us in 2 seasons if it happens.

Saw a lil quote from Stevie G a couple of days ago..

"we were winning trophies before Fernando was at the club , we will win more when Fernando is here , im sure"

I couldnt help but think , Come on Stevie , ive seen you kissing more camera lenses then trophies as of late , no wonder Fernando wants to go!

Just wanna ask....

Which liverpool fans would actually rather have Adam over Lucas?

Any day of the f*ck*ng week. But they arent similar in playing style.. Lucas is more of a runner who chases shadows most the time whereas Adam likes the ball to be given to him.

If we do get Adam we need a ball winning midfielder behind him to sweep up his lack in fitness and tracking back.

Like I said Lucas should be playing with Biscan in Croat. I am still amazed he is a starter for us. How our club has fallen over the past 2 years. <_<

Liverpool have asked for Nicolas Anelka to be included in Chelsea's £50 million bid for Fernando Torres as a stunning deal before the transfer window closes grows more likely, Goal.com UK can reveal.

I would be cheeky, ask for 40 mill and Anelka and Sturridge, one for now, one for the future.

Yeah, who is happy on the bench. LOL

Torres isn't 'good' enough for Barcelona, too technical for him.

Liverpool Football Club today agreed a fee with Ajax for Luis Suarez - subject to the completion of a medical. Here are 10 facts about a player who could soon be strutting his stuff at Anfield...

1) Suarez is nicknamed 'El Pistolero' which translates as 'The Gunfighter'.

2) His most prominent features are his pointy ears. In fact, they gained so much attention during his time in Holland that he even appeared in a Dutch advert for hearing aids!

3) Luis had long hair when he first arrived at Ajax but was ordered to cut it off - by his wife Sofia! Her reason? She felt it would be a suitable show of respect after he was handed the club captaincy.

4) He was born on January 24, 1987 and shares a birthday with The OC actress Mischa Barton as well as musician Jools Holland.

5) Luis grew up in Salto, Uruguay's second biggest city. It is famous for the 'thermal pools' which are kept at over 100 degrees fahrenheit throughout the year.

6) He finished the 2009-10 campaign as the Eredivisie's top scorer with 49 goals in all competitions. He was also named Dutch Footballer of the Year.

7) IFFHS crowned him the World's Top Goalscorer for 2010.

8). He regards Lionel Messi as the world's best player. In an interview with Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo back in 2009 he said: "Messi is the best, no doubt about it. It's a pleasure to watch him play. I asked Martin Caceres about Messi, and he said that in the locker room Messi is just one of the players in the group and very humble."

9) According to the man himself, his key attributes as a footballer are his technique and his innate knack for scoring goals. "I can say that I am technically very good, and I am lucky to be able to score goals easily. However, I don't like to talk about myself; I prefer others to say what they think of me."

10) Talent must be in the name as he shares his with a man regarded as one of the best Spanish players of all-time. The great Luis Suarez played for Barcelona and Inter Milan between 1950 and 1970, notching up three Serie A titles, two European Cups and two Intercontinental Cups in nine seasons with the Nerazzurri.

Suarez should come in, spout some pre-written drivvel about club heritage and history, aswell as the rich culture of the city and state how he relates to the people of the city,

then after scoring his 1st goal should kiss the badge and claim this is now his club,

and it'll be Torres mrk-2

and the fans generally will lap it all up.

Ha, I see where you are coming from.

You have to remember though, Torres took a pay cut to join Liverpool.

I genuinely think he had some affection for Liverpool with the whole armband thing and his autobiography, but I guess sh*t happens.

I could give a f*ck what Suarez says.

He will be at R. Madrid in 3 seasons time after lighting the Premier League.

You know what is FOOKED, if that clause was put in place, it was when a ardent Chelsea fan was our chairman.

LOL.

Puslow the c*nt put it in...

The more i read the more i can understand why he put it in, With our owners at the time looking to sell so they could have paid the money back to the banks how much you think Torres would have gone for after the world cup? Owners would have said yes at £30-35million.

Purslow did it based on if we dont finish in top 4. He knew money would not have been re-invested...

£45million and Anelka and he can f*ck off. Replacement in summer.
