i would say do 20-30 mins steady state either first thing in the morning before breakfast (some people claim it burns muscle but I drop weight doing it) or doing it straight after weight training as your glycogen levels are depleted after weight training.

HIIT for sure - fat burning options on cardio machines are a waste - get on a cross trainer or a rower or bike (dont do treadmill as you cant increase and decrease the speeds quick enough without hitting the buttons) go 20 seconds as hard as you can followed by 40 seconds of slow pace. Do it for 10 minutes then add a minute each session and build up to about 20 mins.

safe, that doesn't sound too bad, i'll give it a go, 10 mins? is that all? or should i repeat on more than one machine?

Been doing this 4 days a weekhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RpqwmjXUeQ8started doing 3 sets, now doing 5, then a doing 5 minutes of squats, and then a few crunches/sit ups until failure. Been doing this now for 3/4 weeks, toned up massively, 6 pack is clearly visible, arms getting firm, improvement in chest area, just generally good upper body improvement. Been eating well and trying to atleast drink two lucozade sized bottles of water a day. Haven't really drunk a lot of alcohol during either.Tbh in my case it was alot easier as my body fat was really low when I started.

have alook through this mate http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/ultimate-8-week-hiit-for-fat-burning-program.htmli said 10 mins as a starter as its hard - if you feel you can go longer you can.
safe for that, it f*cked me up lol
Yeh?? which routine did u do? the one i linked?
just what u said a few posts back, 40 seconds steady speed, 20 second sprint for 10 mins on the cross trainer, i think i had it on lvl 8, so i'll up it to 11 minutes next time i try it. i haven't really read thru that routine properly yet but i'll have a look when i get some time.

Guest M12 Part 2

You can go through periods of it but don't do it forever. Stressin your body like that isn't the best way to train. You will start to feel tired and burned out quickly. I suppose it might be ok for smaller muscle groups. Bit I you went to failure everytime on squats forbexample. You'd be burned out fast.
