Flojo
Beachball ref Mike Jones relegated to Championship match Peterboro v Scunthorpe next weekend. Not far enough, should be running the line for U10's in my local park. I like the way Benitez has handled it, I know he was incensed but he didn't make a fuss over it and throw his toys out the pram. Gave Sunderland credit and kept it moving, Classy.Fifa are full of sh*t for making the playoffs a seeded draw, I would love Ireland to beat France just to see the look on Platini's face. Flojo
The head of the referees' union wants Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson banned for claiming match official Alan Wiley was not fit enough.Ferguson has since apologised for any embarrassment his remarks after the draw with Sunderland may have caused. But Alan Leighton, head of officials' union Prospect, told BBC Radio 5 live the apology was "half-hearted".An analysis of Wiley's fitness following the initial remarks from Ferguson after the recent 2-2 draw at home to Sunderland showed the referee's performance proved he had run more than most of the players during the game. Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association for his comments on Alan Wiley's fitness.Ferguson made the remarks about referee Wiley following the 2-2 draw with Sunderland on 3 October. The 67-year-old, who later apologised to Wiley, could face a hefty fine or a touchline ban if he is found guilty. The referees' union has called for Ferguson, who has until 3 November to answer the charge, to be banned."Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has been charged with improper conduct," the FA said in a statement.snm
