LS Posted June 30, 2013 Report Share Posted June 30, 2013 Her work rate is crazy though She releases an album nearly every year, she's constantly on tour nearly 24/7 Every album has 4-5 stand out tracks(commercially) that will be top 10 hits and the rest of the album would be solid (she has some hidden bangers with the tracks she don't release) She could make her concert 2 hours longer than normal and still wouldn't be able to fit all her hits. Like someone said her catalogue is actually crazy, even if you don't like most of her stuff, you'll still probably know its her track. Theres one thing saying she has classics, but she can be singing for the next 5 10 years and still won't have more classics than Aaliyah, simply because Rihanna isn't going to find a team that could match the output of Missy Elliot R Kelly and Timberland in the 90's. There can be universal classics, it doesn't matter about your individual preference, if you said Illmatic is a shite album, still doesn't stop it from being classic based on Impact, Influence on other rappers, and its lyricism.
