It's all down to the individual and their upbringing imo

cos i know plenty of weird only childs, and plenty normal 1s

and it is the same for those with siblings

it really is down to your upbringing and what you experienced as a child etc

however i have found that say if there is 1 boy in a house surrounded by females they are often very camp/moist/feminine etc

Im not an only child, but there was such a large age difference in my siblings and I, that in many ways I was.

Wonderful imagination, creative but I agree with Samiad on the either selfish or over generous, one of my flaws is over generous and too trusting of people and always giving people seconds chances.

with all the perks of being a lone child

wouldn't say i fit the stereotype, but i am anti-social and quiet, more time it's cause i have nothing to say to you mugs. also find tht i can't relate to most people as a result i roll on my own mostly and prefer solitude, introvert ting

i agree that the determining factors for your social skills is your upbringing and what your exposed to.......for example my boy has about 4 siblings and a big family yet he's the most anti-social person i've met

but i'd say in alot of cases, the amount of siblings you have does play a role

I wonder if theres a connection with not actually asking for help and being an only child, whether you feel like you’re suppose to just deal with it on your own because you always have done

possibly, this is how i feel most of them time, don't really like asking others for help

Im a only child

always hated the spoilt theory. Never really did get spoilt. Mum looked after me well doe.

The wierd thing, dunno about that. enjoy my own company doe since im used to it from a young age and kinda glad i never had to go through the share a room thing. Deep us only childs will never have neices or nephews though.
