Popular Post Agony
Wearing it at games is one thing but are you man seriously saying on sundays when I'm playing football in the park I'm not allowed to wear a football shirt because of some unwritten rule about me being too old?
Frank.
Completely hear the point about shirt wearing, on mathdays obviously its acceptable. otherwise it just looks ridiculous. / that arsenal home shirt is so bland and sh*t.

TF S4DK
Arsenal have revealed their new home kit for the 2010-11 season - and MirrorFootball has this exclusive first picture of Thomas Vermaelen wearing the retro-style Nike shirt. The classic design has already proved a big hit with the big Belgian defender. “I really like this new kit. It’s the typical colours for Arsenal, white and red, and it’s really nice. Every club has their own traditional colours. For Arsenal it’s red and white and that’s the way it’s supposed to be.” If the kit's '70s-styled design is traditional, then the technology behind it is cutting edge. Every shirt is made entirely from recycled polyester, crafted from up to eight plastic water bottles as part of Nike’s ‘Considered Design’ programme, which sees discarded plastic bottles diverted from landfills to be used in the manufacturing process. Vermaelen also praised the kit’s recycled makeup: “It’s good I think, these days the environment is really important for the world and it’s good that Nike cares about that.”

HangTheDJ
Arsenal kit is nang, nice and traditional. Nice. / Wouldn't wear a shirt on match day tbh, retro shirts are acceptable on adults. I wear them for gym/play football in though.

HangTheDJ
Judging by our training range, which is the same sort of retro feel as the Arsenal stuff, then I'd imagine our home shirt will be a traditional kit as per usual.

HangTheDJ
Aston Villa will unveil our new home and away kits for the 2010-2011 season at an open-air event on Centenary Square at The ICC Birmingham on Thursday, July 15, with several first team players appearing to showcase the kit on the catwalk. Children from Aston Villa's charity partner, Acorns, will also appear on-stage with the Villa players and one lucky child will press the plunger to reveal a giant replica shirt on the outside of The ICC building. The event, which will kick off at lunchtime [exact time to be confirmed], will also feature a five-a-side football tournament with local school children and a gig by Villa-supporting local band Mexicolas. Aston Villa captain Stiliyan Petrov said: "We would love for our fans to support this event as we are all looking forward to an exciting season ahead. The new shirt looks great, too!" FxPro is Aston Villa's principal club partner having recently agreed a deal which will see the foreign exchange broker's logo appear on the club's shirt for the next three seasons. FxPro Director Denis Sukhotin commented: "The Aston Villa shirt unveiling will introduce fans to FxPro and kick off a relationship which is very exciting for both parties. Aston Villa is one of the great names in English football and we are proud to be a part of the club's future as they work hard to build on their success." Going Tenerife on Tuesday so won't see it for a few days unless it leaks. Away's gonna be black and home is gonna have cheques down the side ala Dutch home shirt.
