Arsenal are weighing up a shock cut-price £4million move for West Bromwich striker Peter Odemwingie.Arsene Wenger wants to bolster his attacking options to take the goalscoring burden off Robin van Persie - who yesterday renewed his attack on Chelsea players for what he views as their attempts to intimidate officials. Odemwingie caught Wenger’s eye during both Premier League clashes against the Baggies last season, which saw the Midlands club take four points - including a 3-2 win at the Emirates.Main man: Peter Odemwingie twice tormented Arsenal in the Premier League last seasonMain man: Peter Odemwingie twice tormented Arsenal in the Premier League last seasonOdemwingie only has a year left on his current Baggies deal, though manager Roy Hodgson is desperate for the striker to commit to a long-term contract. Gervinho any Eboue with a better eye for goal.
You say that like its a bad thing, :D He's a direct runner who can come on/be rotated for Walcott, and play either wing more comfortably than Bendtner does. That said he's a player that IMO would lets us down in BIG games, but could get a bag of goals against the small teams. Unfortunately I haven't seen enough to suggest he could play as the central striker.

On Friday evening, Robin van Persie issued the following statement via Arsenal.com:"I'm on international duty at the moment but following several reports in the media I think it's important to clarify some recent comments attributed to me."These reports falsely suggest that I recently made negative comments about Spanish and Chelsea players, I would like to make it perfectly clear that I haven't done an interview with Sport 1 or any other outlet in recent weeks and I've certainly not been rude as the comments suggest. "I respect my colleagues of Spain and Chelsea and look forward to playing against them for many years to come. I sincerely hope that all football fans worldwide don't take these misleading reports seriously."I wish you all a great summer!"

the guy who brought was world class players and created the Invinciblesto an extent fans were always willing to let the guy have his pass for experimentingbut now its getting to that stage for change and for him to listen to criticism hence why i think we gonna see a very solid transfer window
This basically. TF you make so many excuses for Wenger its unbelievable. Why do you think the majority of Arsenal fans haven't put pressure on the players before. Wenger protects them and fans have listened up until now. Almunia, Denilson, Diaby, Rosicky, Bendtner ARE SHITTTTTTT yet it takes up to 3 years for people to find a voice to get them out. Look at Denilson for example, as soon as he stated he wanted to leave he was bombarded with twitter messages saying he's sh*t, we're better off without him etc.If he is so sh*t and so detrimental to the team then why not tell him your feelings before?
You saying Rosicky was sh*t before the injury? Shut up man!

"I'm still young. If I don't find another club in Europe, I will go back to Brazil and play there for six months."My idea is to accept any offer from Spain, Italy or Germany from a club that is playing in the Champions League. I dream of maintaining a place in the Brazil national team."I've spoken twice with Arsene Wenger and my decision is clear. I'm not happy at Arsenal and, after five years at the club, it's best for me to go."I don't blame Arsene Wenger at all. I believe I've had my best season personally but want to win titles."After the Carling Cup final it all went wrong for Arsenal."
