I closed my betfair acount for good to stop me loosing even more. I wanna start again this season, so will prob sign up with skybet any good bets for the barca game tonight? Uncle Man Posted August 29, 2011 Report Share Posted August 29, 2011 i pick horses via stats and watching as many of there previous runs as possible...certain races i have watched dozens of times in prep for a next race. evrything is a factor, if i dont get it right then i have not studied thoroughly. i believe if studied properly a lot of but not all races can be figured out. i have most success in group races opposed to handicaps,and big meetings is usually where i will go in financially but i do enjoy the lower level races as well though and try to watch as much as possible. as for the paddock stuff i dont really factor it in, sometimes the market drifts on a horse just cos hes sweating then he comes through and kills them anyway. i dont think looks are that important. also much more likely to lump on a 4-1 shot then rely on six football results to come through, maybe thats cos football can be torture whereas a race is swift lol.dont really like the big field races as anything can happen but will pick a few big priced runners each way. prefer a tactical 1m2f with 6 runners.this is where the more significant bets are made for me. been betting on sports for a few years now and its cool and everything but horse racing is the ultimate. i hope to gain more knowledge of this wonderful sport and become more proficient in the future.and hopefully by my own racehorses in the future. the silks will be an madness Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
