akala is a sh*t rapper who only gets rated for the subject matter.if he could he would have buss as commerically as possible.dont do ur shitboy face at me u c*nt
akalas nothing special i agree, wudnt say he was 'a sh*t rapper' per say, and i cant speak on wot he wud of done if i had the chance of commercial success cos i dunno. but i will say that there are a load of guys that make music for reasons other than commercial success and that i personally look for material with more content, theres only so many times i want to hear about the trap and how the dons all get it in, doesnt get me that excited anymore./ :D

I find Akala very boring and quite condescending, he's like them US underground rappers who are concentrating so hard on being UNDERGROUND and REVOLUTIONARY they actually forget about making good musicI'm not happy with the level of violence in the UK music scene either, but it seems to be one extreme, or the otherHavign said this, 'Its Not A Rumor' was good.

It's true, whenever I listen to his tunes I always hear points where he should have tightened up the flow, rethought the bar etcShould just do spoken word to get his point across really

you lt are chattin shitbut tbh i dnt really blame you foro not getting itakala is a very intellligent young man...as is lowkeyand you guys are probably white/black and poor and ignorantboth make quality music and deserve more acclaim... but probably appeal to those of a political mindset or just genrally a greater intelligencewhen u compare to giggs its embarrasing... but obviously people listen to music more for the beat and swagger rather than insightful lyrics
why do you guys always do this?try come across as some avant garde type guys naming guys who are "deep", sayin sh*t is soo deep but most wont wont get it, but coincidentally u dojust makes people look like giant douches tbhmaybe they just dont like it, u man ever considered that?

tbh none of those guys bring anythin to the table .. talib kweli common and nas are exceptionally generic in terms of subjec matter...nas in particular was talkin absolute garbage compared to marley on his latest albumlowkey brings reality to the table being rooted in middle eastern conflict from iraq to beirutdave - what im saying is he appeals to muslims/arabs /asians because he raps about things which they identify withyou are none of those things hence why perhaps you dont get why he is highly rated by myself and others like meyou see lowkey at these rallys etc hes a passionate guywhat does gigggs stand forshootin negros sellin drugs and doin sweet fck all ... dnt get me wrong its good for what it is...i lookat the person behind the music sometimes though and theres nothin there..i seee akala on newnight doing book reviews...
some real talk there.

It depends on why you listen to music thoughI don't listen to tunes to hear some guy rapping seriously about social state of affairs, because I don't like it. I don't mind if other heads want to listen to it, but don't go on like you have a higher understanding because of it, cuz you don't.

Cept the part where he said certain rappers were generic and he didn't feel their subject matter, then said he feels lowkeys subject matter because it relates to arabs and people like himdo the math
