Right-back Bacary Sagna has rated Gareth Bale as one of the 'most dangerous' wingers around ahead of Arsenal's North London derby with Tottenham.Sagna will become the latest player to try and tame the in-form Welshman when the Gunners host Spurs in the Premier League at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.Bale has humiliated numerous full-backs this season, including Inter Milan ace Maicon, on his way to notching nine goals in all competitions for Harry Redknapp's side.ImpressiveThe 21-year-old's impressive displays have led to teams doubling up on him, but he still managed to fire home a brace in last weekend's 4-2 victory over Blackburn. He also overcame Sagna on their last meeting in April, netting the winner in Spurs' 2-1 victory at White Hart Lane.France defender Sagna feels it is too early to start comparing Bale with the world's top players, but nevertheless remains wary of the threat posed by the youngster."He's doing very well at the moment but don't put pressure on him too early," said Sagna."He will learn a lot, he's only 21 so he will improve a lot in the next few years."But, at the moment, he's one of the most dangerous wingers."Speaking about Saturday's game, Sagna added: "We have to win because we lost the last derby and if we want to be competitive, we have to take the three points."If the Gunners do take a maximum haul from the lunchtime clash it would provisionally lift them above Chelsea at the top of the table and pile pressure on the reigning champions ahead of their 3pm kick-off at Birmingham.Arsenal have not lifted the league trophy since their 'Invincibles' side of 2004, but Sagna insists the current line-up is more than capable of bringing the title back to the Emirates."Of course everyone is ready, everyone is focused, everyone is motivated," he said."Now we have to do it."TurnaroundSagna was one of several Gunners players on international duty this week, helping France to a 2-1 triumph over England at Wembley. Many of the called-up players will take to the field on Saturday barely 48 hours after featuring for their countries, and Sagna believes such a short turnaround could affect Arsenal's preparations for the derby. He said: "We have to think about Saturday, but first we have to rest because everyone played for their national teams."

Jermaine Jenas is confident Tottenham can overcome bitter rivals Arsenal in Saturday's North London derby showdown in what he describes as their 'biggest match of the season'.Spurs travel to the Emirates on Saturday lunchtime, live on Sky Sports HD1 & SS 1, aiming to close the gap on the Gunners and maintain their push for a top four finish. The trip to Arsenal starts a crucial seven days for Tottenham with a key clash with Werder Bremen in the UEFA Champions League in midweek followed by a home game against Liverpool.Jenas is relishing the prospect of playing in three massive games in the space of a week."It does not come much bigger for us. The next three games for us are against Arsenal, Werder Bremen and Liverpool next weekend and everyone in the squad is looking forward to the games," Jenas told skysports.com."Everyone is upbeat and has been training hard this week ahead of the Arsenal game."We had a bit of a blip against Bolton earlier this month but we bounced back against Blackburn and we have every confidence we can get a result against Arsenal."We are back attacking and scoring goals and we feel we can go to Arsenal and impose our game on them."It is a London derby and away to Arsenal does not come any bigger for the players and also for our fans."Jenas admits it will be a tough task against Arsenal and he singled out Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas as two of the main dangermen to Tottenham's hopes of getting a positive result."Arsenal are a quality team and from watching Nasri for France against England the other night he showed he is in good form and obviously Fabregas is a brilliant player and those two are very influential players in their team."However, we have a lot of quality and influential players in our team as well and I am sure they have been watching us and are aware of what we can do."Jenas has some good personal memories of playing at the Emirates having scored there in the Carling Cup semi-final of 2008 and also in the amazing 4-4 draw the season after. However, the 27-year-old admits he would swap his goals for a win against Arsenal on their home patch."I have scored a few goals against Arsenal at the Emirates and I have some good goalscoring memories against them, but I would prefer some winning memories," noted Jenas.Arsenal beat Spurs in the Carling Cup earlier this season and Jenas admits Saturday's showdown gives them the chance to put that result right."They beat us in the Carling Cup earlier this season after extra-time when a lot of players playing that night had not played a lot of football."This game gives us the chance to put one over on them and make up for that defeat and we will be doing everything we can to make our fans happy."

Harry Redknapp has confirmed that Jermain Defoe is available for Tottenham's trip to Arsenal on Saturday. The striker has not played since sustaining ankle ligament damage while on international duty with England in September. He was initially ruled out for three months after undergoing surgery but has recovered quicker than expected and always hoped to be back for this weekend's North London derby.Having returned to full training earlier this week, Defoe will now take his place in the Spurs squad to face their capital rivals.Redknapp is delighted to have the 28-year-old at his disposal once more after admitting Tottenham have missed his goals."It's great to have him back. The other lads have done well in his absence and we scored four goals last week against Blackburn," said Redknapp."But it's great to have the little fella back. He's a fantastic goalscorer and he's different to anybody else."He certainly would've had six or seven goals by this stage of the season."Dawson and KingRedknapp also issued an upbeat bulletin on the progress being made by central defender Michael Dawson.Dawson has been out since the start of September with a serious knee injury but is set to step up his rehabilitation with a training session on Friday. However, there are still concerns over Ledley King, who was struck down by a groin injury last month and is unable to return to training due to his fragile knees."Michael's improving. He is coming on well and is actually going to come out this morning with Tim Sherwood's group and do some ball work outside for the first time," said Redknapp."We are still taking our time with Ledley. He still can't train and he's still not right."He's still got a problem with his groin but we're hoping that there is progress being made there and it won't be too long."

Jack Wilshere passed a fitness test on Friday morning and will be in the Arsenal squad for the North London derby this weekend. The midfielder pulled out of England’s friendly with France in midweek due to a slight back injury and, when he spoke to TV Online on Thursday, Arsène Wenger was unsure whether he would be involved against Tottenham. At his press conference the following day, the manager confirmed the good news. “Wilshere is OK,” said Wenger. “He had a test this morning.“We have everybody available apart from Diaby, Vermaelen and Almunia, who is not in the squad but back in normal training. We play so many matches at the moment that we rotate from game to game so it’s good news we have almost everybody available.” Robin van Persie is yet to start an Arsenal game since injurying his ankle at Blackburn in August. He continued his comeback with Holland in midweek. But Wenger was not prepared to say he’d begin the game this weekend. “It is quite positive,” said the manager. “He had 45 minutes for Holland. “He has to get used to challenges again but technically and physically he is much better now.“I have not picked the team yet but, like Bendtner, he is now very close. “They are in the same category of fitness. They are reasonably fit but, of course, players of that calibre are also very impatient to start and I have to consider as well the balance of the team plus how well we have done in the last two away games. I still have 24 hours to decide that.”
