Well the 5 percent they take could be to regulate the market.

Basically they release only a certain amount of each individual card and you can only get so much from winning matches and tournaments, so if the value of a player drops, like say right now you can get 85 rated Pepe for 3000, they can use the 5% they have skimmed off of everybody and buy up all the Pepe cards and re sell them at an inflated price, cos if the value of the games top player drops too far you get a market crash where players have no true value so the market needs to be regulated when there is only so much fake money available.

Its just like whats happening to the whole credit crunch bankers madness.

Right now there are 5 Vidic cards available for under 44k each if anyones interested and can afford.

Buy them all and then put them back on the market for 50k, they will sell and you will make a nice profit.

Ok I guess I need to point out what I've been doing mostly.

There are players that have no set market value. What that means is no one knows how much these players should sell for and no one knows how much they should buy them for.The best example of this is Xavi from Barcelona. If you go in search of him you'll see the varying prices he sells for. And yes he does sell for those prices. He'll be put up for as little as 35k or as much as 90k, which obviously doesn't sell often at that price but something more reasonable like 50-60k does sell, so in no time at all you could be making 20k profit on one player if you buy low and sell high.

There are players like this throughout the game who's values people don't really know how to judge.

If you don't have that kind of coin to throw around though, some good cheap players to look at making profits on are Lescott, Essien, Luiz, Nasri, Walcott, Gervinho. You wont make much but profit is profit, it just requires a bit of patients. But remember to factor in that 5% EA take on all sales. Most people do not take that into consideration, much like contract length left. Try and buy players with longer contracts for cheaper and try and sell players with shorter contracts for more. Play on peoples ignorance in that way.

Don't buy contracts. Once or twice a week EA will release special packs that cost 40msp that will have just contract type cards. It works out MUCH cheaper than spending your coins on contract cards.

Don't buy players you want that use formations you need to change. Formations cards are a flaming teef. The best cards sell for up to the price of a regular gold pack 7500 coins. And what comes in regular packs of gold cards? Thats right, formation cards. But this isnt me telling you to buy that gold pack, instead if you want a player in a particular formation and position, just wait for him and keep searching, he'll crop up at some point and it will almost definitely work out cheaper than buying the player in a 5-2-1-2 formation and converting him.

I have also purchased coins but I can tell you I've spent a mere £30 doing so which works out to about 350,000 coins, nowhere near the amount of coins needed to have assembled the team I have put together.

Its all pretty basic information and I'm sure most of you know it, but sometimes we all think we've found a bargain before considering the facts of what you are seeing. Try to remember the market sways crazily at different times of the year for varying reasons to such a point, sometimes you are left baffled as to what is going on.

As Fifa 12 comes to a close there are some real bargains out there. An example of this is Cavani. 4 months ago his typical price was about 11k. Right now someone has a buy it now price on him for 1600 coins.

So you see in the 5 months I've been playing FUT I've learn some really quick ways to build up coins and I only dropped a couple here that work a treat for me.
