From what I can remember Theon get's saved by the 3 serving girls and the bard when Roose Bolton takes over the castle in the latest book. It's correct in that Asha sent them and he meets with her later but in the books this isn't for a long time. I mean not until Stannis starts coming down toward Winterfell. I'm sure he's just being tortured for what should be the whole season. Maybe the creators of the show like Theon so much they've decided to have him play more of a part and he'll just get captured again later to stay on course with the books.

WHY THE F*CK IS STRONG BELWAS NOT IN THIS? Ser Barristan the bad man is good and all but Strong Belwas is a huge part of Daenaery's story with the poisoned food in the latest book and sh*t.
