good moyes is an overrated d*ckhead who has wasted huge amounts over the yers. the media love to overlook it thoughheres a thought 'davey' moyes stop handing out huge wages to average playersthis prick doesnt understand a business model, they should have sold tim cahill, arteta and possibly jagielka a few seasons ago. without cl its imperative to keep your cashflow and acquire capable replacements. won't get much for those 3 now though

To be fair it's not a managers job to be an accountant. The restraint is supposed to come from board level. They are meant to set out this is how much you can spend on wages and transfers and the figures they give are meant to allow the club to continue as a business. They are the only ones who know the extent of a clubs debt and income/potential income. If a manager wastes money, it's a bad call. But you can't blame them for the finances of a club because it's nit their job to do and they really aren't qualified to do it. You can give your son £20 pocket money a week. Even if he spends it on complete sh*t. You can't turn around say its his fault when your car is being repossessed.
