I hear ya, but van P is an example of sometimes the choice of who ain't in your hands.

 

What I'm saying is from the sound of things Milan need to sell a player/reduce the wage bill.

 

So they would probably prefer/actively go out to sell someone like Robinho/Pato who can get probably the same fee, if not more, from Arsenal at least for El Shaarawy, but who also take home more money than Shaarawy and are older.

 

Where as Arsenal strategy for him if its genuine would be to note interest early window, expect to receive no encouragment, watch progress in their sales over the month, hope for no progress and then try and swing in for Shaarawy on a bargain ting at the end of the window.

 

This bargain basement/supermarket sweep searching transfer strategy seems to be our prefered model of purchasing. Smh.
