V was quite good as well. where'd you find it? yeah V was alright, I liked the film more than the comic, never really liked the comic that much. I liked the comic, the darkness which made V wasn't so prevalent in the film. Saying that I still enjoyed the film, they added some good parts but they also kept out some important bits eg exclusion of Mr & Mrs Almond. Glad they kept it as a 18, only thing I didn't like was the kid comic book bits they missed out C/s, I'm was actually relieved they left out the kid and the stall owner, it was boring as hell to read. For V, guess they had to commercialise it, like not having the attempted rape scene at the beginning. Not sure how good the Thor film will be, if it's not done right it will just end up laughable. really? i loved it how did u manage to get through 4 books if u didn't like it? because everyone kept saying about how good it was, so i kept buying them in hope i would learn to love them.. it took me a few re-reads to appreciate lord of the rings, so i thought it might be the same.. but tbh i got annoyed at it when my man Bran got pushed outta the fricking window lol..and after the part when some people were riding through a town and some girl got dragged of her horse and raped by a load of towns people i was just like eurgh...that's enough.. i'll try to re-read them again when uni breaks up though Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
