1. As tarmac ages, it gets more porous. Rainwater penetrates cracks caused by constant traffic use.

2. When water freezes it expands. More cracks form and the tarmac is pushed outwards like a bubble.

3. The ice thaws creating voids, or gaps, under the surface. These get larger with each freeze-thaw cycle.

4. Traffic causes tarmac to collapse and form a pothole which gets larger as more traffic rolls over it.

the involuntary stanky leg is the one

currently lolling at both descriptions

tbh its not that bad if its dry + icey. just embarassing

if its wet on the other hand, that is not cool. cant be going about my business with a wet and dirty patch on by back / side
