It's 2013. there are a lot of black girls who aren't "coconuts" with white boyfriends/partners.

From conversations with friends/peers they would get involved with a white guy just many seem too scared to approach or not interested.

i know off quite a few Somalis who are very proud to be black and African, and distance themselves from the Arab connection.

I'm surprised by how many of you don't understand/ are surprised at people using differences to separate themselves, humans are divisive by nature and it's rarely related to self hatred imo.

 

Religion, race, nationality, hair color, size, skin tone etc etc - if there's something that we can use to draw a line between us and someone else we will do it.
