Yet one of them Serie A defenders are touching Otamendi let alone Godin.

Not even sending but if you are looking for CB's Italy/Germany is exactly where you want to be looking. 

 

Chiellini is the ONLY good defender in that list. The rest are trash.

Merts has been bad this season but not garbage and Paulista looks promising. Bar a serious upgrade at LB and GK I'm not fussed defensively for the first time in a long time.
