Those people who judge players from...

Dawson a minimum of 7 EVERY game??? Lol. Your very bias if you believe that!!!I'm telling you know NO Spurs player was worthy of a 7 in your 3-0 defeat by us...Considering the amount of goals you conceded this season I find it very hard to believe he was that consistent.
I put that game right at the back of my memory never to be remembered, its not my fault i left it.And that is from an outsiders viewpoint, cause we conceded so much goals, our defenders individually must be sh*t.Wrong.King and Dawson in 05/06 built a very formidable partnership. With King out you are going to suffer, thats inevitable. With people like Gardener, Davenport and Rocha filling in, you are going to suffer even more. You see it now?
Lol.Thats one way of looking at it, but look Newcastle had Glenn Roeder, Olivier Bernard, Titus Bramble, Craig Moore, Oguchi Onyewu, Celestine Babayaro and 14 injured players at one time and stll conceded less.As good as Ledley is, and considering Dawson, Chimbonda & Robinson (take him out of the latter equation) are suppose to be top 4 individuals it doesnt explain how you conceded SO many goals. Especially if those two where so consistent.

You don't need to watch a player 100 times live to have a valid oppinion, sometimes you can judge a player by watchin him on TV. Skys the one; i swear down my respect levels for Nistelrooy and Crespo rose madly after watching them on player cam, never seen them play live and don't need to to recognise their quality players. Footballs based on oppinions - Ancelotti didn't see the big deal over henry Wenger saw that he could be a star, Shearer was either the greatest thing in a newcastle shirt or a cancer depending on who you ask. Footballs oppinions end of the day. BUT People are making comments more time just for a response and yeah the bandwagon effects runs rampant here sometimes. Don't love dumb arguments either if your gonna tell me Kakas sh*t then say why - don't just say Akinbiyi>>>>>Kaka because it makes you look silly. There are only certain people whp's oppinion i take seriously and the biased stuff i don't even watch.

The bandwagons...Anti-Arsenal brigade initiated by supporters of other clubs. Ice and Murkserious started this off and almost everyone else who doesn't support Arsenal has jumped on it.Arsenal Defence League (ADL) initiated by supporters of Arsenal who sarcastically do the same about other teams in reply.
The Anti-Arsenal stuff hapens on real-life and Arsenal fans are to blame for that by hyping their team. As we found out the other day Wenger has underachieved with the caliber of players and teams that he has had
but too many still hold on to some ridiculous opinion based on what Sky Sports or BBC say on the subject.
100%the amount of times ive watched a game and have had my own opinions when i come on here to discuss them i see 90% of the thread just rewording what the commos/pundits said.
Thats jarring. Cant stand when that happens

TRUSSalso man on here judge a player on how good he is individually and how much skill he has... any joga bonita fansfootballs a team gameno one really rates team players on here
teams are bulit around star players, teams that are successful often have one or two individuals that play for themselves and produce that moment of magic. its what separates the good teams from the great teams.everyone on this forum fronts and chats about players there teams have signed, its normal.they might not actually have seen them for a full 90 mins, but obviously their opinion has been based on talk from various people, both in the know and just general chat. you can't really say that someone's knowledge of football is grealy reduced because they aren't at the stadium, unless you are walking into the changing rooms at half time with the players and getting first hand information. sky definately gives the fans a better perspective. the only resason i'm going to watch a game is to soak up the atmosphere and to cheer on my team. i'm not there analysing movement and tactics.anyway no one on this forum seems to be season ticket holder, so everyone's opinions are near enough coming from the same place.

Very interesting topic.Good standard of replies aswell. As for the topic..I know bare Man United fans got happy with the Nani and Anderson deals. But yet , when i askedd them do you watch them play weekly. They said "Nah ive seen a few videos on youtube and i seen a few champions league games" I call them fans of a club , not a fan of the game itself.Football fans >>>> Club fans.

No-ones opinion is fact but it sometimes makes me laugh that the people who seem to have alot to say are the ones who swear by highlights. You can make a proper judgement on a player watching selected clips. You need to see him play 90minuntes over the course of a season. This doesn't mean watching every single match but at least having a general overview for how they play.It gets even worse when people try and critique a player that plays in an obscure league that you wouldn't be able to watch unless you streamed it a 2am every Wednesday and Saturday.

i don't get comments like this...you trying to say just because we haven't seen them play over twenty games in a season for ourselves we should disregard the reputations that they have???both players have been touted as the bright propects for the future, even though we don't know as much about them as ceratin english players, we know they have been placed with high regard in the footballing world. llow the haterade

I just dont see how you can judge a player you have not seen play more then 5 games , Or simply because you have seen how good thier career has been on a clip on youtube. No doubt , They probly will be very good signings , But man united fans are hyping about they are gonna be this and that.We shall see tho. I would love for Anderson to be the next Kleberson.*Remembers when man united fans were hyping after the world cup about him*

Lol at some of these comments. So you have to be watching from a stadium to see how good a player really is? LMAOWatching live on TV gives you a better opinion. Obviously your gonna be biased when watching live cause youll be in awe of the players (esp. if they play for the club you support).

What a dumb comment. So you are saying that people who like a few tricks here and there, check out a player on FM, look him up on youbtube, hype him up, portraying to you that they "know" about football...ARE BETTERThan those fans who spend thousands on their team each season travelling across the country and Europe supporting them.f*ck off.

Your getting the wrong end of the stick mateWhat im saying is, people who watch football but dont follow a team seriously tend to be more intelligent then those who are hardcore fans.

What the hell are you basing this on?Everyone who follows football tends more so than not to have a team.I personally have met no one, anywhere in my life, who has spoken to me about football, and has not had a team who they supported. What an outlandish, ridiculous statement to make. I know plenty hardcore Tottenham, Liverpool and West Ham fans as an example, who know absolutely sh*t loads about everything, the ins and outs of anything involved in football.I really am struggling to see your point here, or how you ever came up with something like that.

Don't agree with that at all. From my experience, these guys tend to be the most retatrded football fans.

Im talking from my experiences.Your experiences may be different to mine.
Do you ever go to matches?Do you ever go down to the pub to watch matches?Or are your experiances based on a couple of neutral mates coming round to your flat to watch the game?
YesYesJust from what ive come across.
