Been on AOL since 2001 and it was always reliable never once did it have downtimes or anything. Speed was fine all the way up to when i went on 2mb i was gettin 2mb, Since i got put up to 9mb speeds all over the place and all gettin a maximum of 2.5mb. And recently my Internet kept cutting out on my router. Might of been because i only had 2 gb left on my hard drive though. See how it goes now but am thinkin bout changing again, last time they begged me to stay and offered me 8mb unlimited, free router (sent me 2) for £9.99 a month. BE* broadband or Sky is me next.

Only Americans and people who don't have an opinion of their own think AOL are poor. I've been with them for 8 years and I've never had a problem. AOL UK is diffeent to the mediocre service that the Americans get. AOL is the most reliable service you can get and if you've been with them for a long time they'll do anything to keep you as a customer.I lied and said I was going to leave so now I'm on 8MB and they also sent me a free router and I only pay £7.99 a month. Also, make sure you certify that they're putting you on an Unlimited package. I know too many heads who have recently signed up and have been thrown onto a Fair Usage Policy. I download nearly 500GB's a month and I never have problems with them.My only pet peeve about AOL is their support lines (although I've only had to call them once) They're usually Indians who don't know much about what they're doing but that goes for many companies nowadays so meh.AOL all the way for me though.
