So i'm hearing applying for 2 completely different things aint reccomended? E.g Psychology and Computing? Do the other uni's get to see your choices?
Its not about them seeing your choices, but how would you structure your personal statement if you were to apply to two completly different courses?
My advice would be don't apply for two different subjects - I didn't know what I wanted to do either, just pick an A-Level you enjoy and could see yourself finding at least vaguely interesting at a higher level. If you do, then your only option is to keep it vague and don't get too specific on why you want to do a subject as it will look strange talking about your lifelong passion for X when you're applying for Y.Plus, I don't think personal statements are anywhere as near as important as you are led to believe, if you are getting good grades at least anyway.

I don't completely agree with that statement.e.g. a course has 100 spaces and 150 applicants. All have A's at AS and GCSE and predicted A's for A2, who gets rejected?personal statement is a way of selling yourself to the uni

I remember being told a number of times putting jokes and informal talk in your eprsonal statement is a bad idea. It makes sense as well. If you can't present yourself well what makes them think you will be a good representative of their uni or even get work done.
