When he wins he'll be deaded off soon after imo
What I was about to say. Who knows though, maybe it'll all work out and it will change the way the world looks at race and there will be no more war. Black people will be seen by all as being equal and Obama will be solely to thank for that. Maybe nobody will shoot him when he's trying to do his job and maybe he will be in power for years to come, being the most liked and successful president ever.NAAAAT

One of the most influential men of the world being black would change alot of things imo social. If nothing more then the stereotypes currently upon black people.
He's as much white as he is black imo anyway. Pisses me off because he's a lite alternative to a real black president. fucl Obama
Well, you're right, of course, but if he does become president I can bet you any sum of money he will be known as the first black president as opposed to the first half black half white president. And that is a victory for black people as one community.

True, and I resile from my comments in fact, because I know the white conservative establishment want him to lose. That is enough to make me want him to win.

to be frank im not even that fussed about it tbh every single person i have asked about why they like him couldnt give me a serious reason, and when i said its coz he's black they couldnt reply with a different reason. i couldnt care less to be fair, i dont have anything against him but i dont know a thing about him and im not looking to learn about him anytime soon. its annoying seeing so many people know nothing about him but support him because of his race tho. i dont know if anyone on here does that tho so that aint some kind of indirect.

How do you think this will impact the way race is looked upon? Or how it will not impact? And do you think it would change/influence your life in anyway?
To be honest..I think the whole reason that I was put off Obama and I am backing McCain is because everyone has made such a race deal of it all. Like people are on a mission for black supremacy or something.Black people need to understand something...White supremacy, black supremacy.. it's all the same ffs.I wish people would stop going on about skin colour all the time. The day everyone else stops bitching about race; will be the day I stop bitching about race.So what if he is black? in fact, he ain't even black he is mixed race, so it's jokes how the black community go on like they own him and he belongs to them. That's why it ain't worth mixing if you are white because you lose everything to do with your own identity/culture.If he is elected president, he will serve ALL People.. do black people think he is going to start dishing out money to black people and prioritising them first or something?won't be long till you slag him off saying he don't represent black people and he acts white or some sh*t.

Roths, he is nothing to do with black supremacy. He is a symbol of equality, hope, and chance. The few poor black people with no aim in life will see if this one black man can do it, maybe they can too. It is nothing to do with any race being superior, but the symbol he represents. This symbol scares you, which is why you wish to support McCain, and it's ok to be afraid of change, I understand.

being black has kind of gone against him because people are all hype about it and are focussing on that rather than THE CONTENT OF HIS CHARACTER.. which people of colour have been fighting for since how long? and the same people are hyping over his colour? Hmmm, smart.he's a forward thinking man who has smart ideas and is passionate about changing the state America's in, it's his sincerity and honesty which makes me want him as president, not because he's black. i think it helps him relate to more people because he's mixed, but it's worrying when people don't look beyond his race because they under-rate how great he is, McCain is old-school.. and problems have stemmed from presidents with that mentality, that's why it's important we give Obama a chance. well.. not us, America. Most of middle America will be backing McCain anyway because they're guna stereotype Obama because he's black.. if McCain wins there's guna be riots, people are guna be PISSED. Obama's not perfect but he's a lot more trustworthy than McCain, he doesn't ignore the important issues and IMO he's just more about making change for the people than just being in control of a country.

i dont think him winning will help against the sterotypes against black people today, because people will be WAITING for him to f*ck up. and as soon as he does (cuz no-ones perfect remember, especially politians), people will RUN with it. fox news in america will have a field day with it, its a win-win situation for them if either of them wini look to the future and think how will he win the next election, cuz alot can happen in 4 years, and the next republican contender will have a lot of ammo by then

IF he wins, don't expect some BIG changes to the status quo imo.The real victory will be more in the hearts & minds of black people. I welcome this as it will cement current & future generations that anything is possible. Disclaimer: He should've had a Mexican as vice president. Insurance is important these days if your life is on the line tbh (no Chappelle).
