There's topics from two days ago on the first page; when did that ever happen back in the day?

It's not cause there's less users either. Everyday there are hundreds of people online. But whereas before there was a page full of active threads discussing all kinds of things, nowadays, with "news thread" "pic thread" "video thread" etc. its more like a blog, and most people tend to read blogs without leaving comments.

We already have tumblr and twitter and reddit for all that bull. It would be a much more interesting forum if people went back to making real topics.
