You're right, but they've pulled away some of the trash they usually force on you with it.

If I was to get it I'd definitely put a custom rom on though.

One really annoying thing I have with my HTC M8 and the Google Now launcher is as I've downloaded a stupid load of apps, it takes too long to get to the end of the list because you have to swipe one page at a time - are there any launchers that make that an easier process? I know I can search, or organise into groups on the home, but I'd prefer my apps list to be easier to get through.

all I could think of during this part was them photos where you have a dark skin black person with a white person and you can either see one or the other in photos due to bad auto-levels "we've solved it guys" would have been lols

Apple definitely took the wrong year to let their design fall.

You think it fell?

Best designed iPhone by a mile imo

!!

Phone is slick, best by far

Congratulations are in order to the Google Lollipop Calendar team.

This is the team that thought that it was a good idea to introduce the "google calendar week" - that special five-day week that starts at random points in the old-fashioned 7-day calendar.

Because that is the kind of bold experimentation we want for our calendars. Look at Julius Caesar - with the introduction of the julian calendar he really put his stamp on history, and guaranteed that his name still lives on, two thousand years later.

The Lollipop Calendar team dreamed big, and wanted to play in the same league.  Bold move, team! Stupid, but bold.

But then the drugs wore off, and finally somebody seems to have realized that the whole point of a calendaring application is actually to be useful in a world where you interact with all those odd old-fashioned people who still think that a week has a boring seven days.

Guys, you looked immensely stupid there for a while. But today I got a calendar update, and the weeks are seven days again, and pinch-to-zoom works again.

I congratulate you on getting off the bad drugs, and not looking quite as f*cking stupid as you did there for several months.

Couldn't see this posted already and it might be old news but I will finally unlock my phone now it's a more reasonable price.

Description taken from EE community forum

It will now cost you £8.99 to unlock your devices from EE not £20.42..

If your device is on contract you can unlock this with your contract. Only after 6 months usage first.

If your device is a second hand you have to use a pay-as-you-go Sim card. And this can be done the moment you set up an account and top it up to pay the unlock fee.

You can not use a Sim only contract to unlock a device but you can get a PAYG SIM card and do it that way.

Any replacement devices that have been replaced via insurancea a proof of replacement has to be sent to EE.

Any Device that you've replaced yourself you need to get a pay-as-you-go Sim card and take that route.

EDIT: It might also be worth taking a look at SupremeJaguar's free £5 credit deal. Don't know if the credit can be used for unlocking but £5 is £5.

I've just tried it and got the reply 'Thanks! Your credit is being processed and will be applied shortly.' Sorry have only just seen this.

Seems you cant use "credit" towards the unlock cost.

  • 2 weeks later...

Anyone know how to get Google Play Music to sync the full library to your phone? (Android)

Edit: just found, go to your library through the browser, select all tracks and add them to a single playlist, then download that
