Pesto, Chilli, Olive Oil, Crushed Garlic

 

Something light and quick but always good.

What oil do you guise use for cooking ?

 Coconut oil

 

Olive Oil

 

Gonna try Avocado oil soon

Cooked Ackee for the 1st time today. Without Saltfish as im doing no fish until xmas. 

 

Twas nice, kinda cant wait to do it with fish but im cutting down on it. 

 

My girl's doing no sweets till xmas.

 

Made a mash potato mix, when you have a child you have to think of creative ways to get them to eat and enjoy healthy food. 

 

Mash Butternut squash, plantain and sweet potato

 

Ackee with Okra, Tomatos and the usual onions peppers etc

 

Rice and Peas

Nope, just want to test my resolve and witness for myself what changes i notice. Fish is and has been for 2 years the only flesh i eat.

The week before cos i got in late and my son was hungry i tried a similar ting. 

 

Mashed Sweet Potatos, plantin, Pumpkin, Potoato, Leeks, with Milk (i use non animal milks) for a creamy consistency. It was sweet, my boy waxed it off didnt have to coerce him at all. 

 

With Callalou and mackeral

 

And tomatoes
