an it ruined it tbh, may aswell not have put the bread in the oven, cos it jus went soggy, the recipe does say to serve them on the side, but i wanna kno how to make them stay crunchy in the soup

Foremans are not the one for good cuts of beef. They don't get as hot as a cast iron pan with a thick base, and they drain out juices with the fat. Plus tender meat is best when it's dry fried, you shouldn't be putting much oil in the situation at all.

Good tender steaks are definitely meant to be fried, you can get the tough cuts off the bottom of the cow which are best stewed, but if you're dealing with a good piece then direct heat is the only way

dont put oil in the pan, it will end up 'boiling'' the steak....

cover ur steak with olive oil salt and pepper, then put into a dry pan....

you will get the best results....

for some sick steak go marks & spencers if ur not going butchers...

they do a bag of 8ish 21-day steaks for around £12, all seperatley vacuum sealed so they are perfect for freezing

Ypu might be a filthy yid c*nt but you've got the steak tekkers down.

This also means you don't smoke out your kitchen as the oil doesn't burn.
