West Ham United's new co-owner David Sullivan has offered a player, understood to be the Real Madrid striker Ruud van Nistelrooy, £100,000-a-week to join the club."We've offered £100,000 a week to a player today and we are still not sure we are going to get him," Sullivan told BBC Radio 5 live. "That was a very special player. There's no transfer fee involved and he's got the choice of almost every club in Europe. He has played at the highest level. He's down to three clubs and West Ham are the only English club still in the hunt for him."Van Nistelrooy has also attracted interest in England from Stoke City and Tottenham Hotspur.http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/jan/21/west-ham-ruud-van-nistelrooy-transfer

Milan striker Klass-Jan Huntelaar could be about to bag a move to Liverpool with Ryan Babel heading the other way on loan.According to Milannews.it, Huntelaar is Premier League bound. There is rampant speculation surrounding the player, and the latest idea being floated around in Italy is a move to Anfield. The report claims Rafa Benitez is looking for a striker, and Huntelaar is the one closest to suiting his needs on Merseyside. The move is likely to be welcomed by the Rossoneri. It's a quick-fix answer to Huntelaar's lack of action, and it could pave the way for Babel, himself the subject of abundant transfer talk, to arrive at Milanello. It is said Babel can be an alternative to Ronaldinho and Alexandre Pato, while Liverpool could revive Huntelaar ahead of the World Cup. As things stand there have not been any negotiations, and the reports remain unconfirmed at this stage.

Sergio Canales' father and agent, Angel Canales, claims his son has agreed to join Real Madrid. The Racing Santander teenager has shot to prominence over recent weeks, with a number of eye-catching displays drawing admiring glances from Europe's top clubs. At just 18-years-old the talented playmaker has become one of the continent's hottest properties.Such interest has made it virtually impossible for Racing to convince the youngster than his long-term future lies at El Sardinero. They could, however, benefit from the agreement reported to have been struck with capital giants Real.OptionsLos Blancos are said to have agreed a five-year contract with Canales, with Racing set to receive €6million compensation for a player who would be out of contract in the summer.Real are also believed to have agreed to send the youngster back to Racing on loan for the next two seasons, with regular first-team football needed to help aid his development.Chelsea, Barcelona and Manchester City were all reported to have been chasing Canales' signature during the January transfer window but, while they were prepared to offer a better financial package to player and club, the Spain Under 19 international feels a move to Madrid is the best choice for his career."The decision was Sergio's and he thinks that Real offer the best option in a sporting sense," said Angel Canales.

It's the kids dream to move there, he'll get loaned back to Racing for a year or 2 then be moved into the first team this will allow him to gain more experience and grow as a player, then he will be ready for Madrid, will he get in the side in 2 years? I can't see why not. He is already a more complete and will be a better player than Bojan, he is so highly rated in Spain, they're expecting massive things from him. Going to City is a load of bullshit.

Philippe Senderos is to join Everton on loan until the end of the season. The central defender has fallen from favour at the Emirates Stadium and is desperate for first-team action to make the Swiss World Cup squad. This season, although he has two appearances for Arsenal in the Carling Cup, he has not figured in either the Premier League or Champions League for the team. The Everton manager, David Moyes, turned his attention to Senderos as he sought defensive cover in the wake of Lucas Neill's unexpected move to Galatasaray.Senderos has played for his country 33 times and last season had a loan spell at Milan.http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/jan/22/everton-arsenal-philippe-senderos
