will prob sell my second laptop and cop this though

but why is everyone in the comments saying they copied the magnet idea from apple? since when did apple use magnets to connect a screen to a keyboard?

(apparently not a tablet, but a laptop that can be used as a tablet, runs the full windows 8, had no idea where to post it)

i had a 7" tab

i prefer the bigger size tbh, 7 is crap IMO, i have the note 10.1 right now and its just perfect, magazines render well, video streaming is perfect, that home screen i posted looks excellent, websites load up fully so moretime i dont need to scroll, news readers like currents look so much better on the bigger screen. was gonna keep both but i just had to get rid of the 7" as it wasnt working for me

only thing is if the app your using isnt optimised for tablets it looks sheg, datpiff for example looks wack

got an ipad 3 aswell but im really not feeling it, so im giving it to my sis for her birthday, ill tell her i opened it to install apps for her or something

but technically the Nexus is good, played about with one, my main issue is screen size for a tablet, if youre browsing you have to zoom and scroll and sh*t

Thing is I dont want a big tablet.. Nexus 7 looks small and slick. I have had a go at using it for about 5mins but couldn't really put it through its paces.. only thing that was bugging me was the storage space (max atm is 16gb). Now that they're bringing out the 32gb version later this month I think I may just go for it. The only thing that will sway me will probably be an iPad Mini with 3G on it.

Ive seen how big and heavy the iPad 3 is and its just not for me tbh.

Think Ima wait till the end of the month because Apple and Google have announcements coming up over the next few weeks. Nexus 7 3G 32GB would be IDEAL.

Is it worth swapping an ipad 2 for a Note 10.1 ?

note is sick AF IMO

goes through streaming and intensive apps breezy. ive been killin the s pen apps, theres an app called skitch which is sick and the multitasking on certain apps is cold, can do the whole capture a webpage and add a section into a note and scribble around it thing. the ability to record and playback your drawings is cool too.

ipad is nice, but for me i need customsation and more things, i dont like the fact iOS has looked the same since 2007 and theres not much i can do with it in that sense, even the jailbreak stuff is kiddish

this also has IR so im using it as a remote for my TV and home cinema system, when i get X10 light switches ill use it for that too

i actually love it

I think now that Google own Motorola they've gone back and updated the firmware for a few old products.

But its up to the manufacturers to pay Google to develop the new versions that work with the hardware - no one really has flagship Android products except Samsung's Galaxy though so there's no focus.
